Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On Monday, October 2, 2006 Ferro Corporation issued a press release announcing the filing of the Company's Annual Report on Form 10-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The filing was made on Friday, September 29, 2006. In the release, the Company also indicated it expects to file its Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q for 2005 during the month of October 2006.
