In conformity with Articles 9 and 10 of the Law 18,045, Banco Santander Chile informs that in the ordinary board meeting held on March 27, 2007, the Board of Directors of Banco Santander Santiago, approved the resignation of Juan Andrés Fontaine Talavera as a Board member of the Bank. This position will remain vacant until the next board meeting.
